Background ‣‣Amare was born and raised in the Skatay, like most Veena, but moved into Rabanastre after he reached adulthood. He lived there in relative happiness until the Garleans invaded, where he was conscripted and forced to fight for the Empire since he was shockingly good with a gun.He was there with the forces at Carteneau, and was thought dead after a frost spell blindsided him, leaving him encased in ice.After Louisoix summoned forth the Twelve against Bahamut, Menphina reached out to him, knowing him as one of Hydaelyn's light-touched children, and brought him back from the brink.It was in this moment his memories became shrouded in fog and when he came to, he couldn't remember what had happened before he awoke in Limsa. Only that he had been gifted a name, a home, and a second chance.
